Indaer Aviation Technical Services is proud to announce that it has attained its Continued Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) approval. This approval has been issued by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority, "Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea," a member of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Indaer has undergone a strict audit and has satisfactorily completed the process, fulfilling all requirements to provide CAMO services.

By obtaining this approval, Indaer expands its service portfolio and becomes a one-stop service provider for airlines and lessors for aircraft transition purposes. It offers cost-effective solutions by reducing duplicated roles often seen during these events.

Over the years, Indaer has been involved in more than 1,500 aircraft projects, including numerous aircraft transitions of EASA-registered aircraft. Indaer's focus has been on confirming lease agreement conditions and ensuring compliance with all parties involved, such as CAMOs, CAAs, MROs, among others.

Confirming compliance with lease agreements during a transition requires significant effort in organizing records and identifying any discrepancies. Among many technical requirements, most return conditions demand the aircraft to be in airworthy condition. Therefore, the technical service provider must thoroughly review every maintenance record to confirm or even support the issuance of a set of reliable statuses. These statuses are then handed over to the CAMO for the aircraft's airworthiness control.

Inducting an aircraft into a CAMO and potentially recommending that the evaluated aircraft is airworthy requires a similar effort. Indaer is now able to reduce not only the time but also the cost by eliminating the need to involve two different parties in auditing the same records.

Furthermore, Daniel Restrepo, Indaer's CAMO director, added, "After selling our maintenance facilities in 2018, our board of directors drafted Indaer's master plan for the upcoming years, which included (1) opening a branch office in Europe to be closer to our reliable leasing customers and 2) obtaining CAMO approval as a means to offer more comprehensive services to our valued customers. Today, we are proud to announce that we have launched this new division from our European office in Spain."

With this achievement, along with its ISO (AS9100) certificate, Indaer reaffirms its commitment to quality-oriented policies and its unwavering focus on providing cost-effective solutions.
